Who we are and Where we are

The Board of Fellows (BOF) of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) is the body of distinguished Pharmacists who have excelled in their various fields of endeavour with particular reference to the Pharmacy profession. We are drawn from the different sectors of the profession. Fellowship is seen as conferring status, honour and prestige in recognition of notable contributions to the profession. The Fellowship is thus the highest honour PSN bestows on her members.  The Fellows are at the top echelon of the profession.

The Board is literally committed to the advancement of Pharmacy for the health and social welfare of Nigerians. In addition to this, it encourages Pharmaceutical Education, Research and Scholarship and promotes high ethical standards in the profession. The Board’s focus on Pharmaceutical Education, is based on our belief that further enhancement of the strengths in this area would be responsive to societal needs.  

Over the years, the Board has performed functions to enhance the growth and development of the Pharmacy Profession and our nation in general.

• Promoting the advancement of Pharmacy for the health and social welfare of Nigerians.
• Campaign against Drug and Substance Abuse 
• Conflict resolution within the body of the Society 
• Conflict resolution between the Society and any other persons or groups
• Monitoring government policies to ensure that they are in the overall interest of the Society.
